A Peaceful Escape at the Batyawan Farm

   





  I spent a quiet and refreshing day at Batyawan Farm, a peaceful spot located in Magalang, Pampanga, just about 12–15 minutes away from the town proper As soon as I arrived, I felt how calm the place was—the wide open space, the fresh air, and the simple surroundings instantly made me forget how busy and noisy everyday life can be. It is a perfect place for families, friends, and classmates who want to relax, play games, and enjoy bonding moments without spending too much.


     What made the experience more special was the clear and beautiful view of Mount Arayat from the farm. Sitting on a camping chair while looking at the mountain felt peaceful and comforting, especially while sharing stories and food with the people around me. The place is very friendly to visitors since you can bring your own food and enjoy the wide area for simple games, picnics, and team-building activities.


     When night came, the atmosphere became even more magical as the cool breeze touched my skin and the city lights slowly appeared below. Watching the glowing lights while listening to laughter and quiet conversations made the moment feel warm and memorable. My short visit to Batyawan Farm became a gentle escape—simple, affordable, and full of calm moments that I will surely remember.

Hard Work finally Paid Off

     Our volleyball team’s story began on the simple court in front of the Grade 7 building, where laughter mixed with the sound of the ball hitting the floor. At first, we were just classmates trying to learn the basics, but through daily practice, early mornings, and tired legs, we slowly became a real team. Hard work taught us discipline, but friendship taught us how to support one another. We learned how to listen, how to encourage a teammate who made a mistake, and how to celebrate even the smallest improvement.
